I drive for a living. 2 jobs. 70 hours a week. Lots of city core and suburbia, fair bit of slab. Loud pipes help, but barely, especially if I have music or a podcast going in the car. By the time I hear them they're in my blind spot unless they're just holy shit straight pipe obnoxious. The only instance the drag pipes do help is when I'm sitting at a light and I can hear a guy idling, but can't see him. Then I know someone's there and to keep an eye out. I wouldn't be able to hear a Magna rider, even in my work van with next to no sound deadening, with Cobras or stock pipes on, even if he was sitting right next to me if my windows were up. Same for my car, which has poor sound deadening. (Fiesta ST)

Then there's the Cobras. They're not loud. At all. Removing the end caps from your stock exhaust is probably slightly louder than the Cobras unless we're talking 7,000+ RPMs. (Had them on my previous Magna) Their tone is better than stock angry bumble bees, they look better (IMO), they save weight but they require a re-jet, although I've heard of no running issues with them on. It's not like if you put them on and then re-jet to what carbjetkits tells you that the bike suddenly runs 'ok'

Hope this helped.
